March 2007 Meeting - Case Study: Using TFS to support long-running deployment projects

with Dylan Tusler

Please join us for an informative breakfast meeting!

Maroochy Shire Council is one third of the way through deployment of a new records and document management system, a project that is planned to take another two years. This session will focus on how TFS has been used to support the development cycles, and to support the system customisations and custom tool development associated with the project. Experiences installing and configuring TFS, customising task templates, introducing new users, working with "template" tasks and developing tools that interact with TFS will be covered, as well as general Q&A on a real-world small-team project.
